Our country has been through some tremendous events starting from the day our forefathers landed in this world of riches. Whether by trade, purchase, trickery or theft we managed to put together 2.3 Billion acres we call the USA.
The land of plenty became the land of many and now we are at a crossroads of major historical decisions that will affect our future for generations, if not go down in history books as a greedy group of idiots who ate the golden goose alive.
The simple fact that a handful of people own the majority of most everything, tells us of our planned fate. Us, the majority, are meant to pay their TAXES and follow the letter of the law, as twisted as it may be sometimes. We are starting to understand that the masses cannot get life saving treatments because not enough treasure to go around for the poor, or as some call them, the less fortunate.
Most Americans will never know the experience of flying on their own private 757 tricked out jet or hob knobbing with Supreme Court Judges, much less being able to afford a high dollar hooker or even where to find one. The flaunting of extreme privilege in our faces can only mean one thing. We are fools. Why else would we tolerate it or fantasize about being allowed in the “Clique”(Who wants to be a millionaire TV)? Unless you have your own private jet or a yacht or two to compliment your helicopters with a tax-free trust you are not really in the loop, so to speak. Some used to refer to that as a stacked deck.
When golf courses get water before farmland is just a glimpse behind the curtain.
That look is of the majority called the HaveNots. The Haves have easily highjacked our nation using hordes of cash and high school style pep rallies to tap into that childhood feeling of belonging to a common cause. Our nation cares more about who made a pro sports draft than who was demoted to the ranks of the homeless the same day. The chants and hatred get amplified more each year and our children can't ignore the noise. The misdirection is profound, it makes David Copperfield making a elephant disappear, seem trivial. Our new mass communication tool of choice has become Private Labeled Molotov cocktails saved for special occasions and anything online. Click bait has become an artform and is spread faster than a California wildfire, with no regard as to who gets harmed.
Just another mindless causality of "nation building".
If we do not lay down our differences and work toward a common cause, then we deserve what is headed our way. The majority of us are in the same boat whether we want to believe that or not and our only potential paddle is our unity.
UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL.
