It is pretty simple. We have to stand together to make sure we have a legitimate voice in our destiny.
The fact that millions have migrated, at all costs, to come here is a hint of what is beyond our borders.
We can’t blame them for wanting a better future and going for the gold ring. Whether there is a seat at our table is a different issue, but these human beings should be treated with compassion and respect, especially when their future is guaranteed turmoil and challenges unimaginable to most.
